All Saints Strelley Village is featured in England’s Thousand best Churches where author Simon Jenkins writes:

“Suddenly suburbia slides away behind us and wild fields, woods, cottages and pink walls take over. The picturesque 12th century church sits on a hillside with the old hall immediately beyond.”

“The battlement walls rise like castle ramparts and are a museum of local geology, with stone, brick and mortar slapped into place as and when required. The interior by contrast is high, noble and richly adorned”
